    Second Round of Camp Bisco Artists Announced!

    Camp Bisco has confirmed the second round of artists slated for Camp Bisco 10, the tenth annual three-day music and arts festival in Mariaville, New York this July 7-9, 2011. The newest artists joining the 100+ performer lineup at the multi-stage camping festival include: a first ever U.S. appearance of Shpongle Live; Ratatat; SPECIAL DISCO VERSION DJ set featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney; the New Deal; Four Tet; Conspirator; the Japanese Popstars; Orchard Lounge; Alex English; and JDH & Dave P. These latest additions to the 10th anniversary of the festival join previously announced performers: The Disco Biscuits; Cut Copy; Wiz Khalifa; Bassnectar; Pretty Lights; Death From Above 1979; MSTRKRFT; Ghostland Observatory; Yeasayer; Rusko; Lotus; Wolfgang Gartner; Skrillex; Neon Indian; Nero; Break Science with RJD2; Holy Ghost!; Lettuce; Easy Star All-Stars; Beats Antique; DFA Records Tent; Damon Dash’s DD 172; Das Racist; Mad Decent Tropical Tent; 12th Planet; Up Until Now, feat.     New to Camp Bisco will be the addition of curated label showcase tents. Hosted by DFA Records, Mad Decent and Damon Dash, the three tents will showcase the latest creative elements stemming from each outlet. Unique to Damon Dash will be the recently launched DD172, a media collective brought together for the purpose of developing avant-garde music, television, publication, fashion and art projects. For the Mad Decent tent, the group will be showcasing their latest music and talent discoveries. With first ever North American festival appearances by Nadastrom, Munchi and Dillon Francis. Mad Decent will also share the recently created Moombahton genre of music. Finally DFA Records, made famous for its impeccable radar for music talent, will return to Camp Bisco with a SPECIAL DISCO VERSION DJ set featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney. This will be the third trip to Camp Bisco for the duo, who most recently appeared as headliner LCD Soundsystem. The DFA tent will also feature a DJ set by Holy Ghost!.

    Camp Bisco X returns to the picturesque Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, New York for a fifth year. The venue is located approximately 20 minutes travel time from Albany, New York and sits on 200 acres of rolling, grass fields. Many of the improvements introduced to Camp Bisco 9 will return, including the second stage in the main field, surround sound system late night dance tents and a local artists stage. Additionally, Camp Bisco 10 will expand to include 5 performance stages, a second main gate for faster entrance into the grounds, an improved late night dance tent with a greater capacity, daily music workshops and seminars, a second late night tent stage and a larger silent disco.

There are two levels of VIP packages this year. Level One, the VIP Experience, is available for $229 in addition to the 3-day festival pass and Level Two is a Platinum Experience, available for $379 in addition to the 3-day festival pass. 50 cents of every ticket sold will be donated to Headcount, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to voter registration and participation in democracy.

    But wait, there's more! We're especially excited to premiere the first in a series of episodes documenting the sessions for our next studio album! The album is called Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens and will be out this summer. The episodes were directed by our friend Jesse Borrell of NoCoast.tv, whose first Biscuits claim to fame was his contest-winning Konkrete video that premired at Inferno 2010.     ONE MONTH Until Inferno Weekend!



    On Thursday and Friday May 26-27, they'll rage two nights at the Ogden in Denver. Tickets for those shows are only available as part of a three-night package with Inferno, up now at Ticketfly.

    And then Saturday May 28, the party returns to Red Rocks for an all-night extravaganza featuring Rusko, Big Boi, BoomBox, emancipator, and Nicos Gun! Single-day Inferno tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.
